This will no doubt be one of my less attractive, non-flattering (of myself) topics to date.......
This morning, after showering, brushing my teeth, putting my contacts on, doing my make-up and my hair.....I walked into my room to get dressed and thought to myself, with a pause......."Did I poop yesterday?"
Okay, seriously?!?! Am I that old, really? Number one, do I already not remember something as trivial as a bowel movement from yesterday?? And secondly, at 31, how important is it that I poop every day or not!?
I guess I had to share because of all the 'make you feel old' or 'did I really just ask myself that' moments.....that has got to be an interesting one to say the least.
So here I sit, 9 am on a Friday. We are getting ready to head to a birthday party with playgroup and I am thinking about pooping! Ha!
So with the heavy question looming around my head I decided to try to figure out why exactly I asked myself such a trivial question. I know that at 16 or 21 or even 25, the query never came up (to myself of course) if I had yet pooped on a said day! I can only assume that as I have gotten older and been more aware of my body that this is now important. Where I once was able to feel like crap .....no pun intended....for a day from something so silly, I, as a mother cannot stop the world to wallow in a tummy ache. And truly, I guess I am old enough to know that being constipated or having my body contentious with me is never a winning battle!
So....my question to you is......have you made the poop today?!

Yes, I have. I'm an early morning pooper, thank you very much. It's part of my daily morning routine. ;-P
Did you know that some nutritionists say you should poop after every meal. Seem a bit much to me, don't you think?
I'm a poopin's important believer. I go twice a day usually. TMI?? Poop is natural, normal and I don't get why people get so embarrassed about it. I'm glad you made this post. Thanks girl.
My kids poop at least 3 times a day (just about after every meal) go figure.
I think it comes from being a mom! It took forever for that picture to come up and I got to the line that says so her I sit...and I thought Oh NO she didn't! LOL
I really never thought I'd blog about something like this...especially since I cannot put it off on "kids".
Pooping is important! I think it's just odd what we think to ourselves! lol
Thanks for commenting D, M & A! Nice to know I am not alone in my 'poop' conversation! lol
girl, you are crazy!
I saw the word 'poop' in the title and was laughing before I even started reading. I couldn't believe Heather did a poop blog LMAO.
You're right, though, being "regular" is important. To answer your question, yes. I'm a once-a-day'er. Hubby, on the other hand, goes after each meal without fail. Way too much time in the bathroom for me!
lol!! You have lost your mind!!! I cannot wait to see how you are at 80...
I am a 1-2 a day-er if I make or have the time! Okay, THAT is TMI! LOL
I am crazy....but what does that say about the company I keep?? ;O)
All this poop talk is a little funny I have to admit! Cause if you know me (or how weird I am) pooping is a very private thing to me.....which is why this is so out of the box for me!
And Marietta, I have thought about how even more crazy I will sound...or actually be when I am way old....could be interesting!
I swear, this WILL be the only poop blog ever! LOL
Glad to see you back!!!!! I nearly spit my coffee out on this one.
